FOREVER TINY HOMES – WARRANTY POLICY

1-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty

Forever Tiny Homes provides a 1-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty to the original purchaser. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use. Coverage begins on the date of the first retail purchase and applies only to the original owner. It is not transferable if the home is sold, gifted, or otherwise changes ownership.

What This Warranty Covers

Forever Tiny Homes will, at its discretion:

  • Repair or replace defective parts

  • Cover labor for warranty-approved repairs

  • Use Forever Tiny Homes technicians or authorized subcontractors

Warranty coverage applies only to defects caused by manufacturing errors — not by wear, environmental exposure, or improper use.

Owner Responsibilities

To maintain warranty eligibility, the homeowner must:

  • Follow all maintenance guidelines in the Owner’s Manual

  • Review and follow appliance manuals included in the Warranty Packet

  • Perform regular inspections and upkeep (sealants, hardware tightening, cleaning, etc.)

  • Report warranty issues promptly

During the first 365 days, Forever Tiny Homes will cover:

  • Cabinet and door alignment

  • Loose hardware (locks, latches, hinges)

  • Minor fit-and-finish adjustments

After the 1-year warranty period, these items become normal homeowner maintenance.

Warranty Start Date

📆 The warranty begins the day the original owner takes delivery.
It applies only to the first retail purchaser and cannot be transferred.

Submitting a Warranty Claim

If you experience a warranty-related concern:

  1. Contact Forever Tiny Homes.

  2. Provide:

    • Your full name

    • VIN number

    • Model and length of your home

    • Detailed description of the issue (photos encouraged)

  3. Await written approval before any repairs begin.

⚠️ Unauthorized repairs without written approval void the warranty.

If local subcontractor repair is not possible

The homeowner is responsible for transporting the home to the Forever Tiny Homes factory service center in Cottonwood, CA.

Water Intrusion Prevention (Awning / Storm Door Recommendation)

Forever Tiny Homes strongly recommends installing either:

  • A weather-protective awning
    or

  • A storm door

…over the main entry door to reduce the risk of water intrusion.

⚠️ Damage caused by rain entering through an unprotected door is considered owner negligence and is not covered under this warranty.

Appliance & Component Warranties

Many components in your tiny home — including the water heater, refrigerator, HVAC system, and other appliances — include their own manufacturer warranties.

Forever Tiny Homes does not warranty parts or systems covered by third-party manufacturers.

Please ensure you:

  • Register all appliances immediately after delivery

  • Keep copies of appliance warranty cards for future service

Failure to register appliances may result in limited or denied manufacturer coverage.

Before Requesting Service

Please review:

  • Your Owner’s Manual

  • Each appliance manual in your Warranty Packet

Improper use or setup may result in:

  • Damage not covered by warranty

  • Service charges to the homeowner

Not Covered by This Warranty

The 1-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty does not cover:

Wear, Damage, or Misuse

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage from accidents, abuse, neglect, misuse

  • Dents, scratches, cracks, tears, stains

  • Cosmetic issues (fading, paint scratches, minor imperfections)

Environmental or Maintenance-Related Issues

  • Sealant maintenance, caulking, paint touch-ups

  • Rust or corrosion

  • Light bulbs, fuses, filters, lubricants

  • Overloading, improper tire pressure, lug nut issues

  • Damage from hail, storms, wind, or chemicals

Improper Use or Setup

  • Incorrect towing or hitching practices

  • Use of under-rated tow vehicles

  • Weight distribution or wiring issues

  • Use of hitch extensions or rear-mounted racks

Modifications or Unauthorized Repairs

  • DIY or aftermarket modifications

  • Structural or system changes

  • Non-OEM parts

  • Repairs performed without prior approval

Service & Transport

  • Transportation to/from service facilities

  • Unauthorized service outside the approved network

⚠️ Full-time or year-round residency may void warranty coverage unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Limitations of Liability

Forever Tiny Homes is not responsible for:

  • Failures in third-party appliances or equipment

  • Injuries caused by misuse, improper towing, or negligence

  • Improper use of systems or failure to follow instructions

  • Damage from mold, mildew, fungus, or microbial growth

  • Incidental or consequential losses, including:

    • Loss of use

    • Travel costs

    • Lodging expenses

    • Property damage

    • Legal fees

No Additional Promises or Modifications

No salesperson, dealer, employee, or service technician is authorized to modify or extend this warranty.
Only the written warranty outlined here applies.

Duration of Implied Warranties

Any implied warranties — including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose — are limited to the same duration as the written 1-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.
